"Born and raised in the beach town of Santa Cruz, California, Los Angeles-based artist Zeno introduces his wavy Alternative R&B sound to the masses with the release of his debut EP, Glossy, out via Three-Seventy Music Group in August. Featuring the crisp, groove-oriented beats of R&B/Hip-Hop producer Jayvidd, Glossy showcases Zeno’s smooth, laid back vocal style wrapped in warm reverbs and cushioned by atmospheric synths, dreamy keys, and liquid 808s. Over the course of the 5-track EP, Zeno immerses himself in idealistic, somewhat ironic fantasies, where his feelings of loneliness, longing, and dissatisfaction are washed away by male love interests and summer days spent back at home on the vibrant beaches of Santa Cruz.

Drawing inspiration from artists like Erykah Badu, Beyonce, A$AP Rocky, Missy Elliot, Jazmine Sullivan, Smino, and Sam Cooke (whose ‘Live at Harlem Square Club 1963’ record was the first he ever owned), Zeno puts his own touch on R&B/Soul, fitting in between the cracks of current, pop-leaning R&B, 90’s Neo-Soul, and contemporary Jazz. Slated for a late summer release, Glossy will feature one single plus a music video for the seductive, hypnotizing track “Denim Daddy,” which is set to come out early next year."
